An Ombudsman is an advocate for residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. While the Ombudsman’s office does not “police” nursing homes or home health agencies, they work with the long-term care providers, such as you, your family or other representatives to resolve problems and concerns you may have about the quality of service you receive. For more information about long-term care Ombudsman, you can go to that website at: http://aging.ohio.gov/services/ombudsman.
